Bonnie Stone Memorials
So many knew Bonnie Stone, our wonderful volunteer coordinator and masterful book club presenter. We regret to say Bonnie passed away on April 29. Her family has planned a memorial service for her at 11:00 a.m. on May 15 at Pullen Memorial Baptist Church. The family will receive friends at a reception following the service in Finlator Hall.
It seems appropriate to remember Bonnie here where so many knew her. We invite you to a memorial for Bonnie at Quail Ridge on Sunday, May 27, at 7 p.m. Clay Stalnaker will lead the remembrance, with members of Encore. There will be an opportunity for those wishing to say something about Bonnie to participate.

The Girl with No Shadow
by
Harris, Joanne
Take a handful of magic, flavor it with Paris, mix in a large splash of folklore, cover it with chocolate and you've got a fool-proof, deeply satisfying recipe for a rich, absorbing tale that will keep you reading late into the night. This sequel to Chocolat is, quite simply, extraordinary.--Debbi Burton, The Rediscovered Bookshop (Boise, ID) |
